John W. Maupin was confirmed by the Missouri Senate as a member and secretary to the St. Louis County Election Com
mission on January 29. Maupin was appointed to the position by Governor Jeremiah “Jay” Nixon earlier in the month, but that appointment was subject to the Senate’s confirmation process. The bi-partisan commission is charged with overseeing the registration of voters and running all the elections in St. Louis County.
